Stuctured

This will be a simple post. A really simple one.

Thus, less words but more technique.

Been studying at fashion school.

The skirt is an A+.

Remodelling

I am at the peak of quitting this whole blogging scheme. But then I suppose it won't hurt posing around in some dress I just made out of entirely square fabrics. After all, nobody does it like I do. To me, it's originality. And that's what makes life just worth living. Profound  bells ring!

Photography is certainly not my thing. But I guess people are like that. They try to serve justice from what they lack. Thus, the furious blabs.

And you know that feeling of wanting to be super high fashion? Oh yes. That Rachel Zoe feeling, walking around in fur coat, trousers and huge shades. UGH. Give me that freedom as a Christmas gift!

And so, I decided that this dress I made can be glammed up with simple rings, a tad bit glitterati necklace and studded clogs. What do you think?  I'd love to hear it from you. After all, I wish you'd buy my clothes someday. Yes, someday. Such a lovely, hopeful word.

Sunday morning

Okay, so enough about the blues. But more about the scallops... from last week's post.

Had the best feedback ever! Looking well-groomed in my own design.

My hilarious and pathetic attempts of doing the 45-degree angle pose.

Closer look to my ziggy-zaggy take on the shirt.

Have a great day ahead of you guys! :)

Scallops and blues

The weather has been down for most days and so have I. But last Friday was good since I delivered my informative speech well, or so I think.

But anyway, last Wednesday our classes were suspended so I played around with my sewing machine and came up with the idea of scallops. At first I thought that I would just have to cut them in wavy motion. As clean and as easy peasy-looking as this.

See? But then the fabric fell off and it was such a huge mess. And so I discovered a scalloping technique which is quite difficult but still neat and cute. Ta-ta!

It felt so awesome when my friends told me that they thought I bought my top from a store. Well, well.

Thanks to Ina for taking this picture. And loser me for being very oblivious so as to have left my camera at home. That's why major boo for my phone's cam resolution. And major boo for having only one pic. And why yes, I'm a fail at modelling so major boo to that as well.

Looking forward to my very own MANNEQUIN! Soon. <3

It's not the sheer

Today, I'm finally fierce-ing up with my new blog.

In a dominant fiery orange color, not only a display of my sarcastic apotheosis in modelling but also a showcase of the piece I created and an outfit I just threw on.

Wearing absolutely vintage accessories, sheer blouse (worn as skirt) from my mom's wardrobe, and a dress I created (worn as blouse); I was thinking of  tucking the dress in shorts but then the drizzling weather made me want to feel light so I tried on the breezy sheer instead. And my, it was so fun!

I'm trying to gather more courage to wear this dress casually. It's obvious I was quite lost at measuring the depth of the v-neck. Math skills, oh no. Not to mention, poor photo lighting skills.  Ugh.
Looking forward to posting more creations!
